Last Wednesday first grade students were shocked to discover their classroom had been taken over by birds of prey! Actually, staff members from the Dickerson Park Zoo brought these special guests to visit. Students learned learned a great deal and loved seeing the birds…their favorite part, however, was being able to touch real-life feathers.
