Dear Willard Central Community,
I can’t believe first quarter is already over. I would like to say thank you to the teachers for the time they put in for Student-Led Conferences. I hope everybody enjoyed conference time with their child to see what they are learning in class. I would like to say thank you to the PTO for providing dinner and desserts to the teachers for Tuesday night.
We kick off Red Ribbon this week. Thank you to Mrs. Gromer for all of your hard work and coming up with Red Ribbon Week activities and themes. Some of the Evangel football players joined the students during Community Time on Monday to talk to them about how to stay in the game and be drug free. The students will celebrate each day with a different theme.

The Chip Shoppe will be in Wednesday, November 7. Pick-up will be at WC in the gum. Money is due at pick-up. Look for your order forms this week. The pick-up time is 3:30-6:30 pm. Congratulations to Mrs. Brock’s Class for collecting the most Box Tops in October! Enjoy your Popsicle party!!
Willard Central classes compete monthly to earn points. It is easy to participate and help earn money. All you have to do is cut out Box Tops. If your child brings them to school ready for submission, they are worth double points, but they must be cut out in the PTO classroom contest. The winning class wins a POPSICLE PARTY!!!
Please visit http://boxtops4education.com for cutting instructions. For soup labels they have to have the UPC code for the vendor to accept them. We use that money for Coach Brown’s equipment and other items.
We are collecting Sunny D labels with the UPC code on them. Please give them to your teacher so they can get FREE BOOKS. For every 20 Sunny D labels your child’s teacher can get 20 free books. All shrink-wrapped packs and bottles 6.75 oz. or larger are eligible. The program ends November 30, 2012.
